Garden Burnet Root is the dried root Sanguisorba officinalis L. or Sanguisorba officnalis L. var. longifolia (Bert.) Yu et Li (Fam. Rosaceae).Sanguisorba officinalis (Great Burnet) is a plant in the family Rosaceae, subfamily Rosoideae.

Action: To arrest bleeding by dispelling heat for blood, and to counteract toxicity and cure sores.

Indications: Hematochezia, hemorrhoidal blooding, bloody dysentery, abnormal uterine bleeding; scalds and burns; carbuncles, boils and sores.

Usage: For external use, appropriate quantity to be ground into powder and applied topically
